GLS Family Benefactor

The Gentlemen Leadership Society is grateful for the support of its GLS Family benefactors. These individuals partnered with the KSU Foundation to consolidate existing endowments into a primary GLS Family Scholarship Fund, which will serve as an ongoing source of support for GLS student scholars through strategic management and philanthropic giving.

Chris Gigstad is an attorney and owner of Gigstad Law Office in Overland Park, Kansas. He represents clients facing misdemeanor and criminal charges in Johnson County and surrounding municipal courts.

Gigstad earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and history from K-State. He then studied law at the University of Tulsa School of Law in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Washburn Law School in Topeka, Kansas, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate.

I’ll always look back on my time at K-State with a smile, grateful for all the university gave me. I now watch for ways to give back, and I enjoy seeing today’s students rise to the challenge of becoming tomorrow’s leaders.

Gigstad remains a Wildcat fan, supporting the Kansas City Catbackers and returning to Manhattan often as a loyal season ticket holder for K-State football and basketball games. Currently a resident of Prairie Village, Kansas, Gigstad also devotes his free time to golf, tennis and St. Ann Catholic Church.
