GLS Family Scholarhip

Established in 2024 by Dana Brewer, Chris Gigstad and Brice Lowe, the GLS Family Scholarship is awarded to K-State undergraduates who have shown exceptional leadership and maintained a strong GPA throughout their high school years.
Preference is given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
Incoming K-State freshmen
Cumulative high school GPA of 3.5+
Extraordinary leadership in high school
Renewal Requirements
Full-time student at K-State/Cumulative GPA of 3.3+/Involved as leader on campus
GLS Terry Huffman Scholarship

Established in 2025 by Terry Huffman, the GLS Terry Huffman Scholarship is awarded to K-State undergraduates who maintained a strong GPA and competed in athletics throughout their high school years.
Preference is given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
Cumulative high school GPA of 3.0+
Graduated high school in Kansas or Connecticut
Significant leadership in high school
Participation in at least one varsity sport
Declared major in College of Business

Full-time student at K-State/Cumulative GPA of 3.0+/Involved as leader on campus
GLS Michael E. Traeger Scholarship

Established in 2024 by Michael Traeger, the GLS Michael E. Traeger Scholarship is awarded to K-State undergraduates who have shown exceptional leadership and maintained a top GPA through rigorous high school courses.
Preference is given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
Cumulative high school GPA of 3.75+
High school graduate of Kapaun Mt. Carmel or Bishop Carroll
Completed a Cum Laude (or similar) program in high school

Randy D. Sims Family Leadership Scholarship

Established in 2025 by Randy Sims, the Randy D. Sims Family Leadership Scholarship is awarded to K-State undergraduates who have maintained strong academics while participating in a high school sport.
Preference is given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
Cumulative high school GPA of 3.25+
High school graduate of Shawnee Heights
Declared major in Economics, Ag Econ, or Business Administration
Significant leadership in high school and/or community
Participation in at least one sport, as a player, manager or trainer
Renewal Requirements
Full-time student at K-State/Cumulative GPA of 3.0+/Involved as leader on campus
